A report by Bloomberg says Deutsche Telekom is contemplating a merger with T-Cell US.

The report cites individuals conversant in the deal as confirming that early-stage talks have begun concerning the creation of a holding firm that may make bids for shares from each publicly traded corporations.

Presently, Deutsche Telekom holds a majority stake (53%) in T-Cell US.

Their involvement with T-Cell US stretches again many years.
