Katelyn Hemmer (she/her) graduated from Carleton School in 2024 with a B.A. in Political Science. Throughout her time at Carleton, she performed an in-depth analysis venture inspecting the historical past of meals commodification, post-industrial farm fashions, and the rising social motion towards native meals programs. After commencement, she spent a yr at Earth Sky Time Group Farm in southern Vermont and is now finishing a Farmer in Coaching program on the Previous Fort by Fort Lewis School in Hesperus, Colorado. Her experiences span your complete meals system, from seed to compost, together with work with farms, meals banks, co-ops, eating places, and composting operations. Exterior of her work, Katelyn enjoys studying, making an attempt new recipes, and climbing.
