Clare Boland (she/her) is from the island of Martha’s Winery, Massachusetts, the place she grew up surrounded by a sturdy group of farmers and fisherfolk. She graduated from Cornell College with a twin diploma in English and media research, and has managed communications for small companies and nonprofits. Along with her background in communications, Clare has labored as a farmer and gardener in a spread of areas and conditions, together with Martha’s Winery; Chicago, Illinois; and rural North Carolina. She is passionate concerning the energy of meals techniques to uplift communities and the setting. Clare relies in Portland, Maine, and enjoys exploring the woods, rising greens in her city yard, and selecting up new crafts on the native makerspace in her free time.
