Born out of the straightforward concept to have the ability to play wherever and at any time gave rise to central Pennsylvania’s indie-folk group Rivers. Introduced collectively and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with simply easy acoustic devices, the facility duo amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. Made up of Joe Schaefer (upright bass) and Vincent Yarnell (guitar and banjo), they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers’ model is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for extra. Now this folks slaps.
