A certification would fill that vacuum, says Adnan Masood, chief AI architect at UST. “MCP growth expertise are quickly turning into ‘must-have’ within the AI area, and the trade is responding with academic applications to domesticate these expertise,” he says. “Whereas a standalone, universally acknowledged MCP certification doesn’t exist but, it feels virtually inevitable if MCP continues its rise.”
Amy Mortlock, vice chairman of selling at ShadowDragon, says issues are already brewing at Anthropic, the corporate that launched the MCP normal. “Anthropic is actively hiring roles that target MCP documentation, which suggests greater plans for making the protocol extra constant and including to it,” she says. “Growth platforms like Zed, Replit, and Sourcegraph are additionally integrating MCP, and that form of momentum normally results in formal certification applications.”
