All of the sudden my MacBook seems on AirDrop as “myusername iPhone”
I gave names to my iPhone and MacBook. So after I tried to AirDrop one thing from one to the opposite, the proper gadget title would seem on the Airdrop choose-destination window. Each AirDrops are set to Contacts Solely.
All of the sudden (oh alright, a number of months in the past) the MacBook to iPhone route works as earlier than, however when sending from my iPhone, the MacBook seems within the checklist as “myusername iPhone” twice, as soon as below the Folks heading and as soon as below the Gadgets heading. That is not what I would like and my MacBook is not a telephone anyway.
The MacBook is MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. System Preferences -> AppleID reveals the proper gadget title at backside left of the window.
The iPhone is iOS 16.6.
The transfers work OK (all the time, truly) however the flawed title actually irritates me.
Any method to repair this?
