Key Duties
- Interpret schematics, layouts, BOMs, and datasheets to grasp elements, their packaging, and PCB necessities.
- Create and preserve schematic symbols and footprints per:
- ANSI Y32.2 / IEEE 315 (US schematic symbols)
- IEC 60617 (European requirements)
- IPC-7351 (land sample and footprint creation)
- Design high-quality multi-layer PCBs utilizing, Altium Designer, PADS Cadence Allegro
- Optimise designs for DFM, DFT, and DFA, with emphasis on value, reliability, and layer discount.
- Perceive PCB supplies, fabrication processes, soldering requirements, and meeting strategies.
- Generate fabrication outputs together with Gerbers, ODB++, drill recordsdata, BOMs, Choose & Place, and mechanical drawings.
- Conduct thorough critiques for design high quality, manufacturability, and compliance to requirements.
Required Abilities
