Director of the Middle for Built-in Agricultural Techniques, College of Wisconsin-Madison
Dr. Erin Silva is an Affiliate Professor and State Extension Specialist in Natural and Sustainable Cropping Techniques within the Division of Plant Pathology, in addition to the Director for the Middle for Built-in Agricultural Techniques within the School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW-Madison. After completion of a PhD in Horticulture at Washington State College, Dr. Silva obtained a school place at New Mexico State College. Throughout her tenure at NMSU, Dr. Silva taught programs on natural vegetable manufacturing, an experiential studying course integrating the working scholar natural Group Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm on campus. Dr. Silva initiated a number of natural analysis tasks at NMSU, together with work on cowl crop-based lowered tillage for natural vegetable crops and breeding greens for natural manufacturing methods.
