I am attempting to scrub set up macOS 11.5.1 through a bootable USB. However I could not discover the interior SSD via the onscreen set up steps. I searched Google, attempting fixing this drawback, and located this command: diskutil zerodisk drive disk0
. So I attempted this within the command line. Now I notice I actually should not do this. I feel after this, the partition map turns into corrupt. When later discovered and execute the diskutil apfs delteContainer disk0s2
, it returned the error:
Could not learn partition map.
Listed below are the results of the command: gpt -r present disk0
and diskutil record
. I could not get the textual content to a different pc, so it is an screenshot. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If extra info is required, please inform me.
disk0 and disk1 is the interior SSD. I do not know why there’re two identifiers for it. disk2 is the bootable USB installer.
