Signing marks continued enlargement of Skyport’s footprint within the UAE
Ajman Transport Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skyports Infrastructure, the worldwide chief in vertiport infrastructure for the superior air mobility (AAM) business, with the intention of exploring alternatives for cooperation within the subject of good aerial transport, together with air taxi companies.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director Basic of Ajman Transport Authority, and Mr. Daniel O’Neill, Basic Supervisor of Skyports Center East, marking a strategic step towards enhancing the emirate’s transport ecosystem by adopting built-in and clever mobility options that meet future wants and align with group aspirations.
The memorandum consists of areas of cooperation involving research and analysis within the growth of good aerial transport infrastructure, identification of appropriate areas for important services, enhancement of technical and operational readiness.
H.E. Omar Mohammed Lootah acknowledged that the signing of the MoU is a part of the Authority’s imaginative and prescient to embrace revolutionary transport options that help Ajman’s transformation into a wise metropolis. Daniel O’Neill, Basic Supervisor of Skyports Center East, expressed his appreciation for the partnership with Ajman Transport Authority, noting that the MoU represents a useful alternative to collaborate on enabling superior aerial mobility applied sciences in Ajman, and growing supporting infrastructure consistent with the Basic Civil Aviation Authority’s (GCAA) latest vertiport laws.
