Ali Hoshiar is a Senior Lecturer in Robotics on the College of Essex and Director of the Robotics for Underneath Millimetre Innovation (RUMI) Lab. He leads the EPSRC-funded ‘In-Goal’ mission and was awarded the college’s Greatest Interdisciplinary Analysis Award. His analysis focuses on microrobotics, mushy robotics, and data-driven mechatronic techniques for medical and agri-tech purposes. He additionally holds an MBA, including strategic and industrial perception to his technical work.
