In most single-line textual content edit fields, urgent ↑ strikes the cursor to the beginning of the road, and urgent ↓ strikes the cursor to the top. However within the Messages app, the behaviour is barely totally different; it appears to think about 3 positions: the beginning of the road, one thing just like the final location of the cursor, and the top of the road, and urgent ↑ / ↓ cycles by way of these (so e.g. urgent ↑ then ↓ returns the cursor to the identical place).
I can see some logic to this for individuals who press ↑ or ↓ by chance and desire a fast manner again to their previous place, however I discover it jarring since I am used to the usual dwelling/finish behaviour. Is there a approach to configure it? I am undecided if that is Messages-specific, or one thing extra common (although I have not seen every other apps present this behaviour).
